About
Rainbow Spectrum, Dance Enrichment Program is an inclusive beginner dance program created for autistic adults and for children with special needs who want a supportive, welcoming place to learn to dance. Classes are structured, sensory-considerate, and taught at a comfortable pace, using clear demonstrations, simple step-by-step instruction, and positive encouragement. Participants build coordination, rhythm, balance, and confidence while enjoying music and movement in a calm, judgment-free environment. Each session includes a predictable class flow (warm-up, skill-building, guided choreography, and cool-down), with options to modify movements and take breaks as needed. Rainbow Spectrum celebrates every dancer’s unique strengths and supports social connection, self-expression, and joy through movement—helping students feel safe, seen, and successful from day one. Dance classes take place onsite at our partner daycare centers (including children’s daycare and adult daycare locations). This means dancers learn in a familiar, supervised environment where children and participating adults are already comfortable with the space, routines, and staff—helping everyone feel safe, supported, and confident throughout class.
